Instead of hiding the cords in the wall through a vertical channel, the client opted to have the cords pass through the wall behind the TV into the kitchen where the OneConnect box would be positioned and plugged in — leaving a more elegant presentation in the family room.
Removing a TV from the family room mount and moving it to the mount in the home gym. Then mounting a brand new and larger TV over the fireplace in the family room.

Two pairs of IKEA YTBERG cabinet lights were attached to the tops of the shelving units. Then the wires were run down the edges of the cabinets out of view. Finally, the wires were connected to an IKEA TRADFRI hub that can be controlled by a RODRET remote control and dimmer

This older home in Wheaton had lath and plaster walls on the interior. A dual outlet in-wall cable concealer kit was needed to also support the attachment of the Xfinity box on the back of the TV.
